Spotlight on Martin Blaser, author of "Missing Microbes"

On October 21, CMS will host Dr. Martin Blaser as he presents the first of a Public Lecture Series to raise awareness of the role of microbes in the life of Ann Arborites (and everyone else). The lecture will be held in the Rackham Auditorium on October 21 at 7 p.m.  Admission is free.  There will be a book signing after the presentation.

In his talk entitled "Missing Microbes," Dr. Blaser will discuss how the use of antibiotics, Caesarian sections, and other well-intentioned health practices are contributing to our modern plagues such as obesity, diabetes, asthma, gastrointestinal cancers and diseases, and autism.
