Course Description

This class does not require a formal background or even a strong background in math. The purpose of this class is to re-familiarize and introduce students and medical professionals to some basic building blocks of mathematics that are critical for successful application of mathematical and computational techniques necessary to disseminate experimental and scientific data.

The class will have a wide mix of students with backgrounds in math that go from simply having Calculus all the way up to having degrees in Mathematics. Projects will be individually based on each student's background.

This is a great opportunity to be introduced to computational/quantitative tools in an informal setting.
