Grant Resources and Strategic Partnerships - A Presentation to Faculty by Leading American Foundations

3:00 pm

Location

Event Description

The Michigan Medicine Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations team cordially invites you to join us for a first ever panel presentation by leaders from five highly prestigious organizations focusing on advancing biomedical science:

The Albert & Mary Lasker Foundation

The Lyda Hill Philanthropies

The Burroughs Wellcome Fund

The Rita Allen Foundation

The Dana Foundation

The purpose of the session will be to engage University of Michigan research faculty interested in hearing directly from each organization’s leadership; to help Michigan faculty better understand how each organization operationalizes its research granting mission; describe trends being seen in the funding of biomedical science; and to better understand each organization’s programs or positions related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

All University of Michigan faculty, researchers, staff, fellows, residents, and students are welcome to attend and to present questions for the panel at large or for individual presenters.
