RNA-seq Analysis in R: Quality control and differential gene expression analysis

10:30 am

Location

Event Description

We were an ASM Microbe workshop but are now open to anyone!

Overview

In this full day workshop, we take you from intro R to the tidyverse to statistical models and visualization. Specifically, we will take human RNA-seq from counts through quality filtering and differential expression analysis. Participants will get hands-on experience with coding in R and be introduced to tools such as ggplot2 for plotting, limma for differential expression, and lme4/kimma for complex modeling.

Pre-requisites

You do not need prior experience in R or coding to attend this workshop.

Logistics

This workshop is fully remote through Zoom and Slack. Registrants will receive setup and installation instructions via email.
