Dr. Han’s research interest include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and interstitial lung diseases including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). In particular, she is an investigator for several National Institutes of Health clinical trials including COPDGene, Subpopulations and Intermediate Outcome Measures In COPD Study (SPIROMICS), the COPD Clinical Research Network and theIPFNetwork. Her research focus has been the identification of unique disease subtypes with the goal of advancing the development of personalized medicine.
