The Department of Microbiology and Immunology and the Center for AntiMicrobial Resistance at Cornell University invite applications from scientists focused on Bacterial Pathogenesis and Antimicrobial Therapy for a tenure-track position.

We are seeking an outstanding investigator who brings innovation to the study of the interface between bacterial pathogens and their host, including pathways of therapeutic intervention.

Research interests include, but are not restricted to, host/pathogen interplay, bacterial virulence pathways, anti-microbial resistance, the impact of the microbiome, or host-directed therapeutics. Candidates utilizing emergent genomic and functional genetic approaches are particularly encouraged to apply.
