MICRBIOL 612: Microbial Informatics

During the Winter 2022 semester, MICRBIOL 612: Microbial Informatics course will occur in a modular format via Zoom. The course is open to UM students, postdocs, staff, and faculty. Only one module will be offered this semester.

Reproducible data analysis with R - March 2-4 (this is during winter break) - 1 credit
This module will introduce participants to the best practices in automating data analyses using R. Examples will primarily come from diverse areas and will have a focus on data visualization. The discussion and methods will be generally applicable across science. Learners should plan on each day of the module running from 9-12 and 1-4. Prerequisites: Ability to type and find your way around your laptop.

To participate in the module, you will need to register. You can obtain a credit for the module by sending your university ID number to Heidi Thompson (heiditho@med.umich.edu). If you are not a student or do not want to sign up for credit, you need to provide a short code to cover a $200 per credit administrative fee.
