MICROBIOL 612 - Microbial Informatics - Reproducible Data Analysis with R

During the Winter 2023 semester, I will be offering a 1 credit MICRBIOL 612: Microbial Informatics course. The course is open to UM students, postdocs, staff, and faculty and will be taught in person. To participate in the module, you will need to sign up through this google form.

Reproducible data analysis with R - April 19-21 (this is during the study break) - 1 credit
This module will introduce participants to the best practices in automating data analyses using R. Examples will primarily come from diverse areas and will have a focus on data visualization. The discussion and methods will be generally applicable across science. An example of the materials can be found here. Learners should plan on each day of the module running from 9-12 and 1-4. Prerequisites: Ability to type and find your way around your laptop.
