The Office of Biological and Environmental Research (BER) of the Office of Science (SC), U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) hereby announces its interest in receiving applications for research that supports the Genomic Science research program. In this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), applications are solicited for: i.) systems biology studies on regulatory and metabolic networks of microbes, microbial consortia, and microbe-plant interactions involved in biogeochemical cycling of carbon, ii.) development and application of omics approaches to investigate microbial community functional processes involved in carbon cycling in terrestrial ecosystems.

Amount: Upper  $1,250,000USD, Lower  $250,000USD

Up to 100 awards will be available.
