The Michigan Center for Infectious Disease Threats at the University of Michigan invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track or tenured position in infectious diseases, broadly defined. Applications are welcome from outstanding scientists in any field related to infectious diseases. We especially encourage applications from scientists with a focus on production of monoclonal/therapeutic antibodies, diagnostics development, virology and transmission of special pathogens, vector-borne diseases, emerging viral infections, and/or zoonotic infectious diseases. Candidates must have a PhD, MD, DVM or other doctoral level degree, evidence of scholarly productivity and promise, and depending on the field, evidence of teaching excellence. Primary school and departmental affiliation(s) will be determined by the applicant’s qualifications and preferences, and by the relevance of the applicant’s research program to departmental priorities and themes. This is at any level (Assistant, Associate, Full) with expected start date ranging from September 1, 2023 to January 1, 2024.
