We are seeking exceptional, motivated, and enthusiastic postdoctoral scholars to join our laboratory, led by Melody Zeng Ph.D., at the Drukier Institute for Children’s Health and the Department of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine.

Our laboratory studies the interaction between immune cells and the gut microbiome during pregnancy and in early life, and its role in the development of inflammatory complications, such as premature birth in pregnant women, and necrotizing enterocolitis and food allergy in newborns and young children. We are looking for postdoctoral fellows with an interest in gut microbiome and immunology. These studies will involve studies of gnotobiotic mice and analyses of clinical samples.

Job Requirements

Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. in immunology, microbiology or cell biology, or an M.D. in pediatrics or gastroenterology with some research experience. The positions are expected to commence as soon as possible. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Compensation includes NIH scale salary, housing stipends and full health benefits.
