Join our research team to make a difference in the treatment of patients with cancer. Arcus Biosciences is an exciting young company founded on the vision of creating new cancer therapeutics through the utilization of unexploited insights in immunology and cancer and stromal biology. The company was formed in 2015 by a group of seasoned researchers from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. We are located in the San Francisco Bay area, in the heart of the world’s largest biotechnology research hub.

Graduate, Postdoctoral

The Biology group is seeking self-motivated, collaborative, and technically skilled researcher with expertise and prior experience in the field of immunology who wishes to play a key role in advancing novel immunotherapy drug candidates from the discovery phase into the clinic.

Join us! We take an interdisciplinary approach to understand microbiomes, thus there are research opportunities in fields ranging from molecular biology and genomics to biogeochemistry and environmental science.

We are currently recruiting for multiple positions (postdoc and BS/MS level, part time or full-time) on two different projects involving the analysis and synthesis of metagenomic and metatranscriptomic data from microbiomes.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized critical thinker to join our research group. The focus of our group is streptococcal interactions with host glycan structures. These interactions are critical in colonization of the oral cavity and development of infective endocarditis. We are looking for someone with experience in a range of molecular biology and biochemical skills including bacterial mutagenesis and protein expression. Experience with bacterial binding assays, microscopy, and bioinformatics is a plus.
